This course is designed to teach the basic techniques of Muay Thai in an easily comprehensible method. Slow paced but physically demanding this class is perfect for beginners and due to it's step-by-step method they should not feel overwhelmed. Students receive detailed instruction on the proper methods of movement, punches, kicks, knees, stances, and defenses. Most of our new students are in less than top physical condition and this class will help them regain physical strength, develop flexibility and agility, build confidence, and improve endurance. This course is a prerequisite for Regular Muay Thai Classes.

Often called the art of eight weapons. Practitioners of Muay Thai learn punching, kicking, elbowing, kneeing, and upright grappling! Muay Thai is the national sport of Thailand and is widely regarded as the most realistic and practical of all the Martial Arts. This ancient style utilizes proven principles of power, speed and aggressiveness. The level 2 program makes extensive use of pad, bag, and partner drills. The training is physically demanding and helps students into fantastic physical condition. It is important that each student be taught to their fullest ability, so all may receive the benefits of authentic fighter training. No hierarchy, no division - we believe in true teamwork. Everyone works hard, takes care of each other and has a great time.

The sweet science is taught to all in a fun, but educational manner. You don’t have to be a fighter, to train like one! No hierarchy – just pure teamwork! Beginners, intermediate and advanced students train together in a rotational workout designed to give you a fantastic workout. Instructors coach and teach at the beginning of the drills and then will provide personal attention throughout the class. Lot’s of bag work, shadow boxing, form work, and defense drills are on order for this course. It’s just you against the bag and you can work at your own pace during these 3-minute rounds. Ray has trained many boxing champions and his goal is to make sure that every student learns the fundamentals.

This ancient Art utilizes the proven principles and techniques inherent in the sport of Muay Thai but focuses on Self-Defense situations instead of a ring sport. This means that techniques that are illegal in the ring are practiced and perfected for self-defense reasons. Other areas that are neglected in the Sport aspect of Muay Thai are covered in this course; such as defense against multiple opponents, defense against weapons, various takedowns and sweeps, and we also include some light grappling.
Besides learning how to defend against attackers bearing weapons this course will also teach students how to effectively use a variety of weapons. Stick, knife, quarterstaff, and more. Many aspects of different weaponry are taught. Some students may qualify for advanced weapon training.
The sparring class is an optional contact sparring program. Students will learn advanced fighting strategies, tactics, techniques and mental techniques to develop more concentration, confidence and improve their fighting ability.
